My day in bullets: February 24, 2012

  • I woke up at around 8:30AM, got dressed and headed out to Allen’s house at 9. They all had breakfast first, then we practiced for our performance and whatsoever at Andee’s baptismal party or reception. I was actually the last to arrive at Allen’s house — as usual, mehehehe.

  • We went to the church at around 12:30PM for Andee’s baptism. While waiting for it to start, we took a peak in the YFC collective household. Eventually, we stayed there for worship, since they didn’t have a guitar player there — but Allen went back to the chapel first.

  • We went back to their house to pack up the instruments, amplifiers and all. Soundtripped (All time low, Paramore, etc) in their car while his dad was driving to the venue: Aamal Tower.

  • When we arrived, we found out that the hall was on the 33rd floor. I was actually thinking of Final Destination-like situations. It was so highhh, and the elevator was bouncy: I hate Diego for intentionally making it bounce because he knew I was scared.

  • When we entered in the lounge/hall, it seemed like a pink unicorn vomited in it. It was crazy pink in there, but it was cute… in a way. Hahaha. Anyway, there’s no problem. It’s for baby Andee anyways. ♥

  • There were free hotdogs from 2:30 to 4:00. It was heaven, hahaha. While Jojo and Diego lined up for more hotdogs and while Allen, Joyce and I were sightseeing (ON THE FREAKING 33RD FLOOR), we talked about stuff like people committing suicide or jumping off the roof of the buildings surrounding us and all. We were thinking, “What if we witnessed a person jumping off the buildings over there?” Hehehe. We’re just that curious and random… as always.

  • After eating, we performed in front. Majority of the crowd were adults, so it was kind of awkward, I guess. While performing, everyone was just talking, minding their own business and all. So awkward. Anyway, it was fun jamming with the band… ‘Tis all for Andee!

  • So, after all that (7:30PM), we partied with the adults, laughtripped and had lots of fun. Allen’s dad gave us 200QR after: HEAVEN! I love it. Then we ran through several consecutive pedestrian lanes to City Centre just to get a cab to bring us to Villaggio, trollolololols. That was the most fun I have ever had with them, I swear. We were scaring each other while walking, so we panicked and ran without stopping. Hahahaha.

  • We jammed with Emily, the ukulele of Joey, in the cab, also while walking to the cinema in Villaggio. Mga pasikat! Lmao.

  • We decided to watch The Woman In Black at 9:30PM till 11. But before that, while waiting, we hung out in Virgin Megastore then chilled in Starbucks. At around 9:15, we headed to the cinema. The trailers at the start were creepy: they made us even more excited and scared of the movie that we’re about to watch. Joyce and I were just covering our eyes all thoughout. Haha. But I peaked from time to time. We were all curled up in our seats, lmao. But when it ended, we didn’t understand anything at all. The scary parts were pretty good though, but we didn’t understand the storyline.

  • We weren’t satisfied about the movie. We feel like we just wasted our money for that. Damn it. Hahaha. Anyways, we will forever be paranoid about the women in black that we see here. I guess. We went back to Allen’s house after and we headed home at midnight. Except for Jojo: he slept over. Damn unfair life as a girl. Haha.

  • That was the very first day that we’ve spent together for more than 12 hours. And I swear, it’s one of the best days of my 15 years of existence.
